No, I wasn’t in Las Vegas for CES, the huge annual Consumer Electronics Show, but fortunately for us, Steve Blum of Tellus Venture Associates was. While in Las Vegas, Steve sent me evidence of four Santa Cruz-based companies strutting their stuff at CES. (Check out Steve’s article about Onewheel’s epic voyage to CES. Big Kudos to Buoy for winning a CES 2018: Popular Mechanics Editors’ Choice Award!)
Above, Sol Lipman puts on his doggie suit to show off YaDoggie, a startup that ships “healthy, grain-free dog food delivered to your door just when you need it.”

Keri Waters (left) and Carrie Kingsley show off at the Buoy booth. Buoy’s tag line is “No surprise bills or leak damage. Buoy makes water easy.”

Jack Mudd of Future Motion gives two thumbs up on a Onewheel+ XR. Future Motion is the company that makes this “revolutionary electric board sport.”
